I like both, but it's the one 'Docs did would be more practical. the other is quite large, and I honestly can't think of any fig in that scale that I'd display with it.
just going by what I have, mind ya.

now if it was scaled for 4" figs, I could use it, for sure.
still could, I guess, but the headstones would be kinda big.

but with 'Docs' one, it's obviously meant for one fig, and that would be really easy to find a "victim" for...

If McFarlane should have released some Zombies and half corpses, the big base will be cool. And also I should switch that entry with a big tree and hang a corpse......

Sorry... I didn't mean completely from scratch... this time.

It started off as Vash's base yes... then I covered it with a "mud mixture" - 50% brown paint/50% Baking Soda, then a big glob of white school glue. (I used cheap acylic brown paint).

Slathered it on, stuck bits (bones from a Heap, arms from a Zombie Al backpack, skulls from a Maniacs Poster holder, etc.) and let it dry overnight. Then I washed it with a dark brown ink, then drybrushed away. Quick and easy.

And yes... Zombie Spawn is perfect for it... especially since it's the base I made FOR my Zombie Spawn repaint! [img]wink.gif[/img]
